On October 9, 2017, HOODZ of Greater Fayetteville conducted a free kitchen exhaust hood system cleaning for Operation Inasmuch, whose Breakfast Program provides the community’s struggling and homeless with a hot, nutritious breakfast every day. The cleaning was donated as part of Fire Prevention Week (October 8-14, 2017), a nationwide initiative of the National Fire Protection Association to keep the public informed about the importance of fire prevention.
HOODZ of Greater Fayetteville is supporting Fire Prevention Week by emphasizing the importance of kitchen fire safety. According to the latest NFPA research, cooking equipment is the leading cause of fires in homes as well as in public eating and drinking establishments.
"We hear about kitchen grease fires and witness its unfortunate aftermath all too often,” said Phillip Raines, Owner of HOODZ of Greater Fayetteville. "In light of Fire Prevention Week, we wanted to provide a free fire prevention service to showcase our support for Operation Inasmuch and their incredible work in Fayetteville. We also hope this donation helps to spread our message about kitchen fire safety to the many commercial kitchen owners in our community, before they suffer a damaging loss."
As a recognized leader in the commercial kitchen exhaust system cleaning and preventive maintenance industry, the HOODZ of Greater Fayetteville team has helped countless businesses in the Fayetteville community maintain their kitchen exhaust hood systems.
