Jack Grace & Nate Wojtasinski Present at the Metropolitan Detroit Fire Inspectors Society Meeting
HOODZ team members Jack Grace and Nate Wojtasinski were invited to speak to the Metropolitan Detroit Fire Inspectors Society (MDFIS) Meeting in Canton, Michigan on Tuesday, February 7, 2017. The two presented a review of the NFPA 96 Standard, the IKECA ANSI C10 Standard, as well as a basic introduction to inspecting kitchen exhaust systems and a discussion of the regulations of the industry.
“We were honored to present to this incredible group of Inspectors,” said Grace, “to see them engaged in active discussion about our industry and sharing stories about what they have experienced in the field was inspiring. By the end of the luncheon they were sharing photographs from exhaust inspections they had conducted and asking great questions to improve their inspection protocol that Nate and I were happy to answer.”
The knowledge shared at the Metropolitan Detroit Fire Inspectors Society meetings and other related events is of great value to the fire prevention industry. Understanding codes and regulations that all cleaners should follow benefits the industry as a whole.
