HOODZ International Welcomes Elliot and Tarryn Person to the HOODZ Family!

HOODZ is excited to celebrate the opening of the new Utah location, HOODZ of Salt Lake City, owned and operated by husband and wife team Elliot and Tarryn Person.

Elliot has his bachelor’s and master’s degrees and served in the military from 2007 to 2014. He has a professional background in accounting and has worked as an accountant and CFO for several companies. Tarryn immigrated from South Africa over a decade ago and has a culinary background, currently working as a sous chef at Brigham Young University. They will be assisted in daily operations by Dylan Statts, who previously worked with a HOODZ franchise location in Virginia and will serve as this location’s lead technician.

When the couple first started looking into potential business opportunities, HOODZ immediately stood out to them as a company with an impeccable support system for and among their expansive network of franchise owners. They were also drawn to the idea of owning the first HOODZ to operate in the state of Utah, presenting ample opportunities for future growth and expansion. Since all facilities with a commercial kitchen require routine exhaust cleaning and maintenance services, the Salt Lake City team looks forward to growing the business to serve as much of the Utah market as possible and representing the HOODZ brand on a local and national scale.

Elliot and Tarryn spend most of their free time with their family. – They have 7 children and their parents live with them. 4 of their children are adults and currently not living at home, but they remain a busy, happy family.
